This jelly was made when I opened the fridge and found a piece of cream cheese was going to be out of date. With a small amount of cream cheese, what could I do? Clearly I was unable to make any kind of cake because it would need more cream cheese. So I decided to make a jelly with 2 layers, 1 from flan with cream cheese and 1 from coffee. Coincidentally, there were only 3 eggs and a little of milk which was a suitable choice for this creamy jelly.

I follow the recipe from but I used sugar instead of condensed milk, and instant coffee milk as a substitution for instant coffee. These changes don’t effect the perfect result with the smooth layer of creamy flan blended with the coffee milk flavour.
